As the subject says, I need the user manual of this GSM alarm system, as my father received this system from a friend WITH NO user manual , and asked me to help him set this thing up...
After a long struggle finding multiple user manuals (systems similar to this one), resetting it, all of that kaboodle by scraping bits together from all the manuals I had on hand.
I tried to set this thing up, by calling the SIM from my father's phone, but it obviously needs a pin number (system alarm pin, not SIM card pin), from which I gathered from the manuals: 1234 or 0000 or 8888. No dice.
The system answers your call, then you use your keypad to enter the codes. The system beeps twice if I try to insert the system pin to set the SMS number up, no dice.
Tried arming the system from the phone call, no dice.
Do you guys have a similar system with the user manual? If so, please do post the PDF(if you have it in PDF form) or you can choose to scan in the book pages and post it on the thread? Muchas gracias...
The system only works with one code that I tried, if you call the system, and insert '123456#' on the keypad , then it activates the internal microphone, to listen in on the surrounding area of the alarm system.
